Some love it, others hate it, but nobody is indifferent to the notch, the notch or click that has started to become popular throughout the mobile market since the launch of the iPhone X. For some it is a solution to gain more screen while still maintaining the sensors and front cameras, although for others it is an unattractive solution to a problem that never existed.
The main dilemma for companies is how to make the most of our screens without having to resort to a notch? And apparently Xiaomi found a solution for the problem in his new Mi Mix 3 phone, the new line top of his portfolio.
The Mi Mix 3 comes with a 6.4-inch OLED screen which looks apparently without any front sensor. It is literally pure screen. Well, 93.4% screen to be exact, if we extract its minimum edges. Now, how do we do it to take selfies? Well, Xiaomi's solution was to hide the front camera and sensors on a sliding surface that is manually activated by the user. And this is how it looks:
Along with this, the Mi Mix 3 includes a fingerprint sensor on the back along with two 12-megapixel cameras and a 24-megapixel camera in front. It comes with a Snapdragon 845 and can be configured with up to 10 GB of RAM.
The phone will be launched in China on November 1 from $ 475 for the model with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The most expensive, with 10 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, meanwhile, will rise to about 720 dollars
